What is “Bio-Plastic” in my Nature Next™ Bio-Plastic 3-in-1 Potty?
The Safety 1st® Nature Next™ Bio-Plastic 3-in-1 Potty is made from 50%  bio-plastic, a new generation of durable plastics developed from renewable plant resources. 
Why will the lid not stay up on my potty?
The lid is designed to automatically close to distract a child from playing in the potty.
Are there any warranties for my potty?
Dorel Juvenile Group warrants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal household use and service for 90 days following date of purchase for most products. Some of our products have extended warranties. This warranty shall not apply to damages arising from neglect, accidental damage, or commercial use of the product. This is a limited warranty. Liability for consequential property damage is expressly excluded. Proof of purchase is required. Does the water go in the base or in the bowl on the Musical Talkin' Potty?
The water goes into the bowl as referred to in the instructions, and does not go into the base.
How can I make the Musical Talkin' Potty play music?
Test the potty by pouring enough water into the bowl to cover the two silver dots. Then put slight pressure on the lid. Your Musical Talkin' Potty should begin to play music. If it does not, please contact Dorel Juvenile Group's Consumer Relations Department by email at consumer@djgusa.com or by phone at 1-800-544-1108.
How do I clean my potty?
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth. Use only mild, non-abrasive soap or cleanser.
How do I empty the bowl?
On most potties, simply lift the seat up and remove the bowl by the handle.
How do I remove the sound box on my Musical Talking Potty in order to clean it?
To remove the sound box on your Musical Talkin' Potty in order to clean under it or replace it, you will first need to remove the batteries and then remove the single screw underneath the batteries. Then pull up on the sound box to remove it.
How do I replace the batteries on the Musical Talking Potty?
To replace the batteries in your Musical Talkin' Potty, you will need to remove one single screw to expose the battery compartment. Once you have replaced the batteries, be sure to reattach and tighten the screw.
Is the deflector shield replaceable and where can I order one?
Deflector shields for the potties are replaceable and are available through the Consumer Relations Department. Please have your model number and manufacturing date available. What is the recommended age and weight for my potty?
Safety 1st potties are recommended for use by children who are at least 18 months old and less than 50 pounds.
When using the Musical Talking Potty on an adult toilet, can I use a deflector shield?
When using the Musical Talkin' Potty on and adult toilet, you cannot use a deflector shield. On the Musical Talkin' Potty, the deflector shield is attached to the bowl, and not the seat portion that attaches to the adult toilet.
Where do I find the model information on my potty?
The model number, version code, and manufacture date are molded in the plastic on the bottom of the potty.
