How can I clean my potty?
Musical Potties - It is recommended that the potty seat be cleaned on a regular basis. Use a soft cloth and warm, soapy water and wipe down all parts of the potty. Note – Do not get the sound module wet. For thorough cleaning - It is recommended the sound module be removed from the base so the entire potty can be immersed in warm, soapy water. Towel dry the sensors thoroughly for the interactive feature to work properly. Wipe dry all parts of the potty before reattaching the sound module to the base.

Comfy Cushy Potties - It is recommended that the potty seat be cleaned on a regular basis. Use a soft cloth and warm soapy water and wipe down all parts of the potty. Note – Do not immerse the foam seat in water. Wipe all parts dry before reassembling the potty.

All Plastic Potties - It is recommended that the potty seat be cleaned on a regular basis. Use a soft cloth and warm soapy water and wipe down all parts of the potty. Wipe dry all parts of the potty with a towel.

When can my child use the potty?
A child is ready to use a potty seat when they are over 18 months and weigh no more than 50 lbs. (22.7kg). Never leave your child unattended.
Does my potty have a warranty?

One (1) Year Limited Warranty

Dorel Juvenile warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from material and workmanship defects when used under normal conditions for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Should the product contain defects in material or workmanship Dorel Juvenile, will repair or replace the product, at our option, free of charge. Purchaser will be responsible for all costs associated with packaging and shipping the product to Dorel Juvenile Consumer Relations Department at PO Box 2609, Columbus, IN 47202 and all other freight or insurance costs associated with the return. Dorel Juvenile will bear the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced product to the purchaser. Product should be returned in its original package accompanied by a proof of purchase, either a sales receipt or other proof that the product is within the warranty period. This warranty is void if the owner repairs or modifies the product or the product has been damaged as a result of misuse.

This warranty excludes any liability other than that expressly stated previously, including but not limited to, any incidental or inconsequential damages.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

How can I file a warranty claim?

    • Model number, version code (if applicable) and manufacture date of your potty can be found on the underneath side of the potty seat embedded into the plastic. The date code circle will provide you with the manufacture date of your product. The arrow points to the month and on either side of the arrow is the year. Below is a picture of the date code circle which shows the product was manufactured in the 8 month of 2011.
    • If you are unable to locate the model information, you may email a picture of the potty and we will identify it for you
    • For warranty claims – A copy of your receipt/proof of purchase is required

You will be required to enter the model number and manufacture date to obtain the correct instruction manual. If you are unable to download an instruction manual, you may contact our Consumer Relations Team at consumer@djgusa.com or call 1-800-544-1108 and we will be more than happy to provide you with a replacement instruction manual.

How do I empty the bowl of my potty?
Musical Potties - Lift the lid and remove the bowl from the potty. Empty bowl into adult commode. Clean the seat and bowl thoroughly. Towel dry bowl sensor as the sensor will not operate correctly if they are not completely dry. Place bowl on potty base and lower the lid.

Comfy Cushy Potties - Remove the foam seat and bowl from the potty. Empty bowl into adult commode. Clean foam seat and bowl thoroughly. Place foam seat and bowl back onto the potty base and lower the lid. Note: The latest revision of the Comfy Cushy potty will require you to lift up the lid before you can remove the bowl.

All Plastic Potties - Lift the lid and remove the bowl from the potty. Empty bowl into adult commode. Clean seat and bowl thoroughly. Place bowl on potty base and lower the lid.

Note: Keep potty seat lid closed when not in use.

What type of battery should I purchase for my musical potty?
The size and style of battery is dependent on which musical potty seat you purchased. Your instruction manual and/or packaging will provide you with the type of battery you need to purchase. DO NOT mix old and new batteries and DO NOT mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Always remove the batteries when the potty stored for long periods of time. Note: If the sound module is not working, please check to ensure the batteries were installed correctly. Installing batteries backwards may cause irreparable harm to the electronics.
